Who Am I?

Creativity and Community are the two values that matter to me most as a creative professional. Creativity is the energy that drives me to continue. It is the inspiration and excitement around every new piece I create. Community is the space in which I share my energy and draw from the energy of others. It is where I find like minded people to connect and grow with.

I’ve realized recently just how important it was for me to focus on creating things around what I am passionate about, as opposed to what might be popular or sell well. I want to create things that spark joy in myself and in my community. Connecting with others through art is very meaningful to me. If the work isn’t building energy in myself and others, it will become a slog and I will not be as excited and motivated to create more when what I am creating is not aligned with my passions.

I believe I have been able to find my voice through the communities I interact with the most. Because I want to spread passion and meaningful emotion through my work, being my most authentic self is the goal I am trying to achieve through my art and presence online.

I have decided to jump into updating my online platforms (Website portfolio and store, Facebook, Instagram, and Patreon), establish my online store, create and implement a dedicated content uploading schedule, and begin a marketing campaign. It is my hope that by establishing a set of goals to achieve and a timeline in which to achieve them, I will be able to gauge my own levels of success and use that success to encourage me as I move further.

I hope to learn more about how to effectively market myself as a creator, what makes a good portfolio, and have a better understanding around separating content so I can reach my target audiences.
